City Spotlight Camas Washington

Have you been to Camas, Washington lately?  There's a lot to see and do in this quaint town just East of Vancouver, and a lot of great deals on homes too.  With home listing prices starting around $90,000.00, it would be a shame for any first time homebuyer, or savvy entrepreneur to pass up on this gem of a location.Fantastic antique shopping, boutiques, and restaurants fill the historical, yet tastefully updated and tree lined streets of downtown Camas.  You'll also find florists, hair salons, a yoga studio, a new grocery store, and so much more.  Grab fresh produce from the weekly Farmers' Market, play a round of golf, or take your boat out onto Lacamas Lake for the day. There is always something fun going on, and many of the activities are kid friendly.  If you've got school-aged children, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the ratings all of the Camas schools have received over the years.  And as a major bonus:  whether you work from home, somewhere in Vancouver, or across the Columbia River into Portland, you're sure to be spoiled with the commute.  Camas is only 20 miles from Portland, leaving you close enough to work in the big city or just enjoy all of the bounty Portland has to offer.Enough can’t be said for this location.  I hope you can get a chance to experience Camas over these next holiday weekends:  get some Christmas shopping done and enjoy a sunny day in the beautiful, charming, little town of Camas.
